Summer 2027 - Reading Fee
Avalon Anthology: The Wild Within
Submit your work for consideration in the Summer 2027 edition of Avalon Anthology, a seasonal literary anthology published by Jack Wild Publishing.
This summer's theme, The Wild Within, celebrates adventure, freedom, curiosity, and the untamed parts of ourselves. Summer invites us to step beyond the familiar, embrace possibility, and discover the places—both within ourselves and in the world—that inspire us to dream, wander, and grow. We welcome writing that captures the spirit of exploration, whether it's found in nature, relationships, creativity, or personal transformation.
Your $20 reading fee supports the editorial review process and helps make Avalon Anthology possible. Every submission is carefully read by our editorial team and thoughtfully considered for publication in this seasonal collection.

About the Theme
The Wild Within
Summer is a season of adventure, freedom, and discovery. It's a time to embrace curiosity, follow the roads that call to us, and reconnect with the untamed parts of ourselves that often get lost in everyday life.
We're looking for poetry, short fiction, creative nonfiction, and personal essays that explore adventure, travel, nature, imagination, courage, love, passion, creativity, wonder, nostalgia, and self-discovery. Whether your work takes readers across distant landscapes or inward toward the heart, we encourage thoughtful, authentic, and creative interpretations of this season's theme.
We believe every writer carries a unique voice within them, and we look forward to discovering yours in the pages of the Summer 2027 Avalon Anthology.
