About the Theme
Gathering the Harvest
Autumn is a season of reflection—a time to gather everything we've planted, learned, lost, and gained throughout the year. It reminds us to pause, express gratitude, and recognize the beauty found in both abundance and change.
We're looking for poetry, short fiction, creative nonfiction, and personal essays that explore family, memory, home, gratitude, legacy, tradition, aging, community, personal milestones, and the quiet wisdom that comes from experience. Whether your work celebrates life's blessings or reflects on lessons learned through hardship, we invite stories and poems that honor what we carry with us into the next season.
We encourage thoughtful, heartfelt, and creative interpretations of the theme.
