Need a quick answer?

  • All of your files should be uploaded to your private Google Drive folder, which is shared only with you and Jack Wild Publishing. You can access it anytime using the links provided throughout your client portal.

  • Upload the new version to the Your Manuscript folder in Google Drive. Please do not delete previous versions. Instead, include the date in the file name (for example: My Collection - July 28, 2026.docx). This helps us keep track of revisions and ensures we're always working from the correct version.

  • Your required forms are listed in the Forms & Uploads section of your portal:

    • Author Onboarding

    • Your Book Information

    • Your Book Interior

    • Your Book Cover

    • Your Author Brand

    • Your Target Audience

    • Author Marketing

    Complete each form as you're able. You can always come back later if you need more time.

  • In addition to your manuscript, please upload:

    • Your book description and blurb

    • One author photo for your book cover and author page

    • Your author biography

    If you have additional professional or lifestyle photos you'd like us to use for marketing, upload those to the Author Brand Assets folder.

    Photos for your book interior or cover are optional, as you may not have any specific ones you’d like us to include.

    Front matter and back matter uploads are also optional, as you may not choose to include any.

  • This folder is for anything that helps us create marketing materials that reflect your style and personality. You can upload items such as:

    • Additional author photos

    • Logos or personal branding

    • Social media graphics

    • Inspiration boards or Pinterest links

    • Favorite book covers or aesthetic inspiration

    • Review quotes, endorsements, or awards

  • These folders are optional.

    Front Matter may include items such as:

    • Dedication

    • Epigraph (Quote)

    • Foreword

    • Introduction or Author’s Note

    Back Matter may include:

    • Acknowledgments

    • Other Books by the Author

    • Discussion Questions

    • Newsletter or website information

    If you don't have any of these, simply leave the folders empty.

  • That's completely okay.

    The Book Cover Images and Book Interior Images folders are optional. If you don't provide cover artwork, we'll create your cover design from scratch based on your completed Book Cover questionnaire.

  • Upload any information that belongs on your copyright page, including:

    • Your ISBN (if purchasing your own)

    • Photographer or illustrator credits

    • Any additional acknowledgments or required publishing credits

  • As each project is completed, your files will be uploaded to your Google Drive folder, and your progress will be updated in your client portal.

  • Your portal is updated whenever there is meaningful progress on your project. While we may be working behind the scenes every day, you'll typically see updates when a milestone is completed or new files are ready for you to review.

  • Minor revisions are welcome while your project is in progress. If you plan to add or remove a significant number of poems after work has begun, please contact us first so we can discuss how it may affect your timeline or project.

  • Whenever possible, upload editable files such as .docx for manuscripts. Images should be high-resolution .jpg or‍ .png files.

  • No problem! Your portal is designed so you can work through everything at your own pace. Just be aware, your timeline could potentially be affected if it takes an extended period of time for us to receive certain information or materials from you.

  • Before your book is uploaded to Amazon KDP, you'll have the opportunity to review the final interior and cover files. Nothing is published until you've given your approval.

  • We'll notify you by email whenever an important milestone has been completed or new files have been added to your Google Drive folder.

  • If you plan to use your own ISBN, you can upload that information in the Publishing Information folder.
